Coombs Veterinary Hospital uses digital technology to take Radiographs (X-Rays).
Digital images are sharp and highly detailed. They can be magnified, focused, and have the contrast adjusted directly on screen to enable the veterinarian to view areas with increased detail.
Digital Radiology is much quicker than traditional film radiology and images can be viewed instantly. This means fewer repeated images, less radiation for animals and staff, as well as immediate diagnoses. We also have the option to send images quickly and easily to a Board Certified Radiologist for a second opinion if needed.
