Please Note:
British Columbia is currently suffering from a provincial shortage of Veterinarians.
Clinics across the province are suffering from increased demand and shortage of staff. We are all working extremely hard to make sure every pet receives the care they need and deserve. In order to help our local community, Coombs Vet Hospital is now offering Urgent Care Services.

Coombs Veterinary Hospital encourages clients to remain with one Veterinary clinic for their animal's wellness and urgent care as often as possible. This allows for continuity of care, as your primary clinic has immediate access to all of your pet's medical history.
If you have recently relocated, we recommend establishing a Veterinary-Patient-Client Relationship (VCPR) as soon as possible. This will include a transfer of all your animal's medical records so that we can know when they are coming due for wellness care. Having this relationship in place will prevent you from having difficulty finding care when and if your pet has an urgent health care issue. Appointment spaces are limited and all clinics will give priority to those animals with an established VCPR at their facility.
Coombs Veterinary Hospital will not see new clients without first receiving their medical records. This process can take time - sometimes several weeks. As such, we request that you provide your previous clinic's name and contact information when making your first appointment with us.
